NIOSH provides training for certification as DOSH-registered competent person. A similar mechanism used is proposed here. The MERC will provide and deliver EiMAS approved technical environment courses to the industry and public to fulfill DOE requirements for placing registered competent persons in industrial facilities. Other important environmental topics will also be provided as part of the overall training programmes.
